Got some better pics of the Ford Escort and IAI Kfir models.

I just have the bonnet sitting on the car so I can show off the 'highly detailed' (not ) BDA

I stupidly forgot to take a photo of the interior which I actually did detail quite well (with a only a couple of forgotten things, not bad for me) so this is about the best I could do.

I used a red texta to colour the red rear lights (they come all clear) but haven't found an orange one to do the indicators

I think it would look good with some mud splashes on it (well it is a rally car) I must look it to that.

The rear wheel on this side is actually broken and just sitting with the car on top of it at the moment incase you were wondering about the odd angles.

I painted it like the box art at first with bits of green instead of grey, but it looked pants so I redid it like this which looks a bit better and possibly more hisorically accurate.

A really cheap Italeri kit but it turned out better than I thought it would in the early stages, I did have the canopy on glued sitting up, but it (or course) broke off and so it's just loosely sitting there at the moment.

Nice looking Escort. Humbrol do translucent lacquers in Red and Orange for colouring light assemblies. Also in Green for, I presume, boat modellers to do running lights, (Red and Green). Usual 10ml tins. Think Hannants stock 'em.

Cool, I'll check it up next time I'm up there.

I might have to buy another car model to justify getting all that paint

By the way, how do you do mudsplashes on cars?

And is the technique the same if you want snow or dust?
