I've a dead servo, I suspect from the behaviour that it's stripped some teeth from the reduction gears. It's a Tactic TSX55 and replacement gears are available. Any of you rebuilt one of these?

Replacing gears in a servo should be dead easy.

Stripped it down today, the output gear teeth have failed. Unfortunately the dowel means I can't flip the gear 180° and re-use it after cleaning.

Time to shop for a replacement gear set.

Yes, that's the conclusion I reached when I only found one replacement gear set and it's almost as expensive as a new servo.
