LiPo "connection break" error - can it be saved?
Discussion
Stupidly forgot to remove the 3S battery and out of the RC car which has been stored in the garage for a few months, presumably charged...
Removed it and it looks slightly expanded.. Stuck it on the charger to check if it could be balanced/discharged/saved and it won't even attempt to do anything and comes back with "connection break"...
Tried reseating cables and checking the charger was OK against another battery (albeit a 2S)..
Any (safe) way to recover it on a Skyrc S65 charger? Or expensive mistake?

Setting or connection error most likely means either one cell is completely kaput or there is an internal break. I doubt if there’s anything you can do. Might be possible with an old school charger to somehow introduce some charge to the dud cell by creeping power in at low voltage ie once it gets some voltage into it the proper charger might entertain it. You can measure the voltage of the individual cells (google) if you have voltage meter.
Just got info, I measured the cells, most are in the 2v range, one is around 1.5-1.8v Iirc..
Not sure how they got so low! I'm pretty sure the Esc has a cutoff which is enabled, even if I had left it on.
Any reccomendations on 3S batteries under £100?
This is what I had-
