Speedtail 1:18..?

Updating my CV "garage" with cars I've cadded away on thru the years, I've nicked the Agera RS & lately the McLaren Artura.
Just after the "Arthur" we did the Speedtail extrerior, now where should I look if I don't wanna spend all my dough..?

I like Diecast Legends. (aka Grandprixlegends) In the mid00s/early 10s. I spent a lot with them, used to get their catalogue regularly. But it seemed they around that time they pretty much stopped growing the business and just shrunk it down to a smaller range, at exactly the time that they should have been building it up to maximise online sales. It wouldn't take much for them to be the Number 1 in the UK with their buying power. But now it just seems they want quick sales from stuff that will easily move. Rather than going to the collectors that basically are their bread an butter regular purchasers. Its very disappointing. Their motorbike range basically became "Rossi or no-one"

But the speedtail the OP was after is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper, at multiple sellers, on the Bay.



Yes getting it from Italy does involve your credit card doing a currency exchange. And Yes, delivery from certain Italian sellers is slower than from Guildford. But the savings are not inconsequential to a collector. And unlike DCL, a lot of the better sellers on the Bay, actively WANT to do business. They are happy to combine shipping etc. I spoke on another thread about "bimax/mondo" in Italy. After the model turned up. I got an email of 5% off my next purchase within 4 weeks. I dont recall DCL doing much like that towards the end of my regular buying from them.

I fear they will be gone in the next 2-3 years. But it will be self inflicted.
