1:43 scale Ferrari Testarossa door mirrors

Bit of a long shot - I've Googled to exhaustion on this one...

Does anyone know of a company that does detailing kits for model cars which makes 1:43 scale door mirrors for a Ferrari Testarossa?

The HERPA Testarossa has some nice detailing as it's one of the best 1/43 models around, easily removable mirrors and quite cheap too, most are going for 12 - 18 quid on ebay.

Yep, they are a nice model. No point buying one for parts though as it's only to replace the mirrors that are missing from one I bought secondhand.

What make is your model?

I don't know. It has no name underneath. I bought it from a stand at the NEC classic car show for £5. I believe the model should be a "monospeccio" single mirror version though I might complete it as a later two-mirror version.

That is from a part works collection, made by Altaya, not worth much more than you paid for it.

Correct, it's worth peanuts. I don't care what it's worth, I just wanted to reinstate the mirror(s) if possible as it's a nice looking model.

Good find there. No Testarossa ones in that range but if they're making mirrors they might well be able to do some.

Yeah the twin booms make it tricky

Here's what I would do

I would find a free 3d print file such as this :

https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/ferrari-testa...

Then get in touch with company who will do custom 3d prints in 1/43 and use the mirrors from the resulting model

I used these guys recently https://www.hammerline.co.uk/ - they 3d printed some models for me for £2 each + shipping , really friendly and great service (just use the chat feature on their website)
