I bought some white Milliput last week and decided to do a test before using it for real.
Cut off two little bits, kneaded and rolled them around in my fingers until I reckoned they were mixed, then pressed it onto some wood. That was about 18 hours ago and it's still not hard - I can make nail marks in it.
How long does it take to set, or is the batch duff or does it just need even more mixing?

Only things like Greenstuff, which costs a fortune.

On my Milliput box (maybe 2 years old) it says:
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix equal quantities of the two sticks by rolling and kneading for at least 5 mins until the colour is uniform and free from streaks. Milliput becomes rock hard in 3-4 hours at normal room temperature. Store in cool, dry conditions. Further instructions and product information can be found on our website www.milliput.com
