RC motor experts - 12T vs 35T motor on 3S LiPo
Discussion
Hello,
before I get the tools out to carry out this motor swap is it lkely that a brushed 12T motor on 3S LiPo will be faster than a 35T on the same power source?
I'd tried the 12T before with 2S NiMh and it didn't make a noticeable difference - I am hoping wth the higher voltage maybe I'll get a different result.

If you didn't see much difference in the motors, it's possible that the 12t motor is a 5 slot motor and the 35t a 3 slot motor. They will have similar speeds.
You should be able to tell by how many times the motor 'jumps' in a full revolution.
If it's speed you're after go for a lower turn 3 slot motor or go brushless.
