Hello All

It's coming to winter and I have finished what was meant to be my winter motorbike project - KTM 450........

So I pulled out a couple of the old RC cars and was using and have decided it maybe time to treat myself to something a bit more quicker.

My daughters seem to like them (3 and 2) so it's an excuse haha.

I have narrowed it down to

Qunatum RX

ZD Racing EX07

HNR8902

So I would like something brushless and quick. I do like the HNR8902 but the others look equally as fun.

I would avoid the cheap aliexpress ones.

I think they are a copy of this associated version.

I would stretch my budget and go for that.

Also an rc drift car means you need a nice smooth and large indoor area to run one.

Check the video and you will see where they run it.

I would think an outdoor 4 wheel drive buggy would give you more choice of where to be able to actually use it.

Probably need to decide what terrain you want to run on and work back from there. Of those you’ve posted, the Maverick is the only one I’d consider. It’s a proper make (HPI’s budget brand), has spares available and can handle rougher surfaces. It’s not a full on off road basher though. It takes 4s batteries which can get a bit spendy too. I’d look for something 3s to start, they are still plenty fast and you can always upgrade in the future.

What about something like the Maverick Quantum Flux or the brushless FTX Carnage?
