I've just finished my Michael Schumacher Ferrari collection (1:43) and the last piece of the puzzle was the 2006 248 F1. I bought from his shop directly. Brand new unopened.

It arrived yesterday and I was disheartened to see this. It is made by IXO.

Anyone got any experience of correctly poor product quality? How you might, for exampl, remove it and reseat? The rear wing is very noticeable part of the car and it's bugging me. A lot.

What's causing the rear wing to be askew? It looks like it might just be a bent wing support. If that is the case, just gently bend the support up - carefully.

Tried to take a photo with my phone but it's not doing well - here's a photo of the model from the store. Circled is the beam wing, which is where the wing is actually mounted to the rear crash structure. The arrow pointing at the central wing mounts is actually floating at the bottom (unlike real life) and I was hoping I could just push the wing forward and then glue the gap closed however there's nothing under that floating support to glue it to.

So I am thinking I either have to leave it - and looking closely at some other examples online it appears to be a common issue or return it and get a different brand, like Hot Wheels. But even then a couple on eBay have the same issue! Arrrrrgh.
