They’re lovely models!
I was orphaned as an infant, and raised by my maternal grandparents. My grandfather was the MD of a General Motors dealership (Vauxhall, Opel and Bedford) in Leicester (Batchelor Bowles) in the very early ‘70s. Sadly, he died on cancer when I was five. But before that I can remember visits to the main site. Whilst my grandmother discussed whatever with my grandfather (probably what he’d like for supper!) I’d be left under the care of the chaps in the truck workshop, immediately adjacent to the offices. Hazy but happy memories.

Thank you very much-I have similar memories of our Bedfords-my father owned several-I was orphaned as an infant, and raised by my maternal grandparents. My dad said that he was happy never to have to rope and sheet another load when he switched to driving curtain side trailers.
I bet!I’ve never had to rope and sheet in a professional capacity, but do know how to do it -lots of time spent helping my father when I was much younger-I am pleased I can do it if needed.
Tying Dollie knots comes in handy sometimes
