As per the title, I've acquired an old model wooden boat but have zero idea on how the sails attach,or what it originally should look like.

It would be nice to start researching restoring it but I've zero idea on were to start.

Anyone got any ideas?

Lol, forgot to attach them!!!

I do have another part of the sail, which looks like it goes on the front. Mainsail is on but doubt it's correct.

The gaff(the angled stick attached to the top of the mainsail) should be at a higher angle than that to keep the sail flatter.

If there's only one foresail it will be rigged between the top of the mast and the end of the bowsprit.

This is a schooner, but the forward mast(the one on the left) is rigged as I would expect your boat to be, just ignore the other.
