Cost v quality

Simple things,like tweezers,are the more expensive branded ones better then cheap no brand ones.
Are branded modelling tools/paint supplies better?

I know it’s a generalisation but as a rule,are they?

On the whole, model paints are best when building models - after all, they are designed specifically for the job.

However, certain non-model paints can be be very useful, such as the plastic primer range from Halfords which many modellers (including me) use quite a lot.

As for tweezers, I have found craft/model tweezers much better than more general tweezers.
