Gloss before putting on masking tape ?
Discussion
Hi Everyone
Think I know the answer after my experience with this and don’t know if it will come up on the picture I am going to post ….
So I’d airbrushed in Tamiya acrylic and then had to mask upto do the black trim around the window frames
I had it mind that putting the masking tape (tamiya) on the paint might damage the paint and one can see a dull strip of paint on a masked up area vs gloss on non masked up !
So if I’d had Of put the gloss on then masked up this would not have happened….in my mind was the masking tape pulling off the gloss and leaving me with the same problem
Any views on the correct method much appreciated ?
