Realistic Action Figures
Discussion
Bit of a controversial subject this as it always gets the usual "boys playing with dolls is weird" type comments. However, if you are into scale realistic RC vehicles such as the latest generation of crawlers, then it is nice to have a scale realistic driver figure. Furthermore, scale garage dioramas are an area of interest to quite a few people and again, a good scale realistic figure can really add realism to a garage scene. Equally, some people just like to collect figures as a collectible display item.
I recently purchased the figure below for use with my 1:10 scale RC vehicles. In particular, I have a new Cross-RC EMO AT4V that I'm currently building a scale interior for and thought it would be great for scale realism to have a nice action figure as the driver. When I say action figure, I don't mean a cheap mass-produced wrestling toy with visible joints and painted on clothes, I mean a proper high-grade figure. The figure I chose was a 1:12 scale product by TBLeague and it features seamless body technology as well as a stainless steel internal skeleton with ball joints that offer 22 points of articulation. This allows the figure to be posed realistically.

I'm not a modeller or a collector, heck I've never collected anything in my life but I am a big star wars fan, not to the extent I have posters on the wall or dress up but I have watched all the films, TV shows and read most of the books and comic books.
When lockdown came I was told I was going to be working from home permanently so had to kit out an office, looking for something for the shelf I came across 1/6th collectable storm troopers "Commander Cody" and "Captain Rex" both limited edition and highly sought after.
I've never gotten them out of the box, I guess one day I'll put them on the shelf but for now they are tucked away in the wardrobe.
I'll probably stop there but the Mandalorian figure keeps calling me
