There are two volumes I think, someone gave me these years ago:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Building-Simple-Model-Ste...
There’s some good information in them, and plans, but to me it seemed a lot of effort to end up with something that looks…not crude, but too simple and featureless to justify the work in making them. You still need a lathe, and a lot of hand sawing and finishing.
Each to their own of course, but the extra cost and complexity of the 10V was well worth it for me.
