Wooden Stalwart
Discussion
Had an idea of a simple wooden truck to build as a present for a friend, inspired by the matchbox Stalwart in my bookcase I drew this up in 3D CAD:
It uses 6" wheels from Machine Mart and the vehicle is around 600 x 300 x 300mm.
The availability of wheels determined the size but that means it's a bit big - where could I get suitable wheels from of around 50 to 75mm diameter so I can make a smaller version?
Happy to share the CAD files via DropBox with anyone interested.

RC car wheels?
Looks great, but just a minor point...it woudl be really easy to tip the cab sides in a bit, and have a bulkhead that makes up the back of the cab and the front of the load area. I know it's not a scale model as such, but it's such an easy improvement to do in CAD, no harder at all to build, but would make a massive difference to the appearance of the truck.
Looks fab though!

I agree - that was really a first draft to see how I could make it.
Now I have found some better looking and smaller wheels I'll improve it's appearance.
