painting on resin models
Discussion
You'll be fine spraying hot paints on resin as long as there aren't any wafer thin areas...can happen if the mould wasn't closed properly.
Wash and scrub the resin to remove any mould release agent, key it up and let a good primer properly dry. Just follow normal good practice and you ll be fine.
And show us some pics when you're fond please!

I've built literally hundreds of 1/43 resin cars (used to do it professionally) and always used cellulose primers, top coats and clear lacquers. No ill-effects on resin as long as you spray it on in thin coats. Were I still doing it, I'd probably use Tamiya acrylics and an airbrush - which is what I now use on plastic aircraft kits.
(I do have a couple of resin aircraft kits but have yet to build them.)
