FTX won't power on....
Discussion
After a bit of newbie advice please folks!
Bought the eldest an FTX tracer for Xmas last year - he's used it a bit but not excessively, not aware of it getting particularly wet or taking anything other than the usual bumps and scrapes.
Not used for a couple of months - charged the battery over the last day or so, plugged in & get nothing. No power at all.
So is the battery shot or the car dead in some way - no indication of any life from the LED lights or the light on the ESC.
Anything I can check / poke?
Pictures to follow...

Definitely sounds like the battery.
I'd order one of these testers if you haven't got one so you can see the individual cell voltages and the overall balance.

Thanks Krikkit - ordered one of those & it arrived yesterday.
Initially the battery wouldn't give any sort of reading at all.
Bunged it back on charge for several hours and then tried it and it managed to light the reader up but wouldn't actually record a number on the readout as such.
So assume the battery assumption is correct and it's buggered.
Less than a year old... is there something specific you need to do with regard to charging and storing of li-ion batteries that i've missed or is it just a dud?!
