Excellent! That’ll be from the Wingnut Wings moulds I guess.

ETA - actually read it just now rather than looking at the pictures. Really glad about this - I wanted the forward fuselage version.

Do you think Tamiya should release one in this scale? I couldn't see it being better than this though, even if they did!

I just often wondered why they never went to a larger scale

I’d have thought it’s a fairly limited market for a model that size. Then again Airfix seem to like releasing 1:24 stuff, so people presumably buy it. Having seen the WnW test shots at Telford, I doubt Tamiya could do better - I’d be very happy if they matched it though - prices up to £700 for this Lancaster are being rumoured, I’d think a Tamiya version would be significantly cheaper.
