Got an itch for a new toy, I've already got a Vaterra Glamis Uno which is lightly modified and great for skidding around in the dirt with, was thinking about getting something more biased towards hard surfaces and preferably a little smaller so I can keep it in the boot.

I know very little but these two caught my eye and I was wondering if there was any opinion on which one was the better buy?

Or if anyone has got any other suggestions to spunk circa £300? Prefer realistic looking stuff...

I'd say the HPI was the better buy of the two.

Do you want Kit or RTR?

I am liking the idea of some of the RC drag racers coming in just now....
I watched the Tomly RC video on the associated DR10 the other day and thought how with similar timing kit it could be fun tinkering with setups etc
But much cheaper to run than the big scale tarmac bashers with a relatively low entrance fee compared to some others....

Really wish I hadn't looked at the video of the RC drag cars.
Yet another class of rc cars I really must add to my collection.

Well, I bought the HPI one. Now to spend the purchase price on fiddly bits to go on it.

What is worth upgrading? I feel like I should get some of those plasticcy wheels for drifting about but not sure beyond that.
