At first glance I thought the thread was about scanning paperwork to PDF as a modern alternative to microfilm/microfiche.

This is a microfilm model. Flight times can be thirty minutes plus.



Microfilm Models

Microfilm is made by pouring a cellulose dope based liquid onto water, which then sets and can be lifted off the water with a frame. The aircraft structure is built with materials around 1mm square, and a whole model weighs under 1.5 grams.

lol Well I hate it when people just post a link with no explanation so I took the trouble to copy/paste the title

GliderRider is right. I never tried microfilm, but built a lot of Keil-Kraft with varying degrees of success.
