With a few new releases announced by Spark & Minichamps for this year already including the Spirit Hart 101, I was just curious to find out what other collectors like myself would still like for their collections? (ready built obv.)

Brand New:

Life 190
Tyrrell 019
Lotus-Renault 92T "Igor"
RAM 02
Osella FA1E Alfa Romeo V12
Benetton B185
ATS D6
Tyrrell 018 "1990 Epson - Alesi - Phoenix"

Re-issues

Minichamps Tyrrell 012 "Delta Wing"
Spark Lotus 80

I know a couple of these were issued as Onyx back in the day but it would be nice if they could get a more up to date release. Hopefully nobody sneaked these out without me knowing but anyone else got any cars they would like to see?

I am looking to complete my starting grids from 1980 - 83, so I am still looking for

Arrows A5 / A6 from 1980 - 83
ATS D5 - D7 from 81/82 - 84
Toleman TG181 b - c / 182 from 81 - 82
Alfa 183 from 1983
Williams 07 D from 1982
March 821 from 1981 - 82
Theodore TY 02 from 1982

Some Fittipaldi models are sometimes on a Brazilian ebay site or from Italy, very expensive at around 150 £ or more, but nicely built, Tolemans surface from time but even more expensive. Ensigns from Italy, nicely built

For the smaller teams it is probably not reasonable for spark or minichamps to pay for machining, so you might end up with hand-built mini series, tyre sizes might be a bit off sometimes, but the finish is great.
You may never have a Fittipaldi F9 anywhere else...
Old meri or Western models die cast kits are quite good, and can be built to the standards of spark or minichamps models as well.

Sometimes you get lucky and they start a cheapo F1 legends series and you get gems like this Alfa 182, all it needs are the Marlboro stickers and you have a most satisfying model...

Good list. I would be in for those Tolemans too.

Minichamps did the FW08D six wheeler in both Rosberg & Jones versions and both of them are now rarer than rocking horse poop. I had one back in the day but sold it when times were hard. I also sold my Tyrrell ‘delta wing’ and that’s now going for crazy money too... frown

Just checked, the price for minichamps delta wings is at least 50£, did not except that.
The main difference are the tyres (and tyre brandings) and the black paint at the side of the monocoque with the inclined benetton script, the cheaper model is quite good proportionally, but let down in finer detail. You have to work on the lower model quite a bit and it would still not look that good.
Sometimes you have to pay up if you want it good.
Same for the rare models like the Tolemans, you either pay or don't have any alternative
