where to buy a Traxxas Land Rover

Been wanting one for a while now - I know unfortunately that Russ does not not stock Traxxas (yet!!)

So where to get one? Do they come with everything ready to go - what else will I need?

Will miss the build but I for see a few upgrades coming!!!

Another vote for Modelsport... great service.

I went 3 cell LiPo for power and battery life and reckon its worth it. Ready to run out of the box so your add-ons are the battery and appropriate charger.

Mods wise - Traxxas are great to dis- and re-assemble. I've added some weight with all the brass steering, wheel hub and bumper bits... does seem to improve the centre of gravity by adding low down heft. Good fun once you understand the Traxxas assembly diagrams.

I agree about the 3 cell battery too. It was on the list from what I had read up. Did they do a package price? For the car, battery and charger?

I do feel a few upgrades coming on already. Good to hear the weights made a difference.

They do have "packages" for the necessary add-ons... usually down the right hand side of the page. As with almost everything on 't'interweb these days you can save a £ for one item and pay a £ more for another if you look around. It depends on whether you're happy to fanny about with 2 or more suppliers to save a fiver or go the easy route with a single package... no right answer in my book.
