Tamiya did a rather lovely 1/20th 25:

No longer in production but should be fairly easy to find.

In 1/43 the world is your oyster:

Have a look on Spotmodel and Bestbalsa kits. There is a old Bandai 1/12th lotus 33 but really expensive.
Also shows detail upgrades for various scales. Tamiya models do make quality kits. Good hunting

Resin wider wheels and tyres are also available to bring it up to 1965/66 spec.

I'd start with the 1:20 Tamiya Lotus 25 - very nice kit. IMO slightly let down by the plastic representation of the intake mesh, but there's probably some aftermarket stuff for it by now.

Thanks

will have a look out for them.

On another note just dismanted tender ( 4th rebuild) to take 25mm or so off the sides to shorten it to works drawings dimensions

Moral...... never build a model designed by a well known Miniature loco chappie without checking if it actually looks like the real thing ( which is a bit hard as the real thing does not exist in the real wprld..all gone by 1960smile

Rather like the jewish father who taught his son the first lesson in business, got him to climb a ladder and that he would be ok as he was holding it tight. KId got 20ft up when the father stood back and kicked the footing away.

As the kid lay dazed on the ground the first lesson in business was told

Son NEVER trust anyone
