Lighting Display Shelves
Discussion
Probably the most appropriate forum to ask in......I recently bought a cube shelving unit to put some figures in, but being black it is somewhat dark so am trying to think of a way of lighting it. Ideally they'd be wired together and either plug in or battery. There are of course a myriad of led lights on ebay, but even the smallest stick on ones would be complete overkill for a 35x35cm space. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Spotlight on the ceiling?
Swap the black cube unit for a white one?
If you want lighting inside each section, how about some stick-on LED strip? Pretty sure it can be cut into short lengths, and wired up with a piece under each shelf. Probably need a soldering iron to do a neat and unobtrusive job. Get a dimmable strip or it might be a bit bright.
