Well, 8 years after posting my pictures of my Hanomag I have "finished" three new ones this week and started two more. Cannot believe it has been that long.
Anyway, here they are. First up we have the Matilda and the SAS Land Rover
The Matilda took some time as I just could not get the painting with the light blue stripes like the one at Bovington to work so eventually gave up and went for a different scheme altogether. Must have about 6 inches of paint on it by now
Matilda still needs weathering then I might put these two in a case together even though they aren't period with the Matilda going out of production in 1943.
The landrover is the Pink Panther kit but I didn't really like that look.
Then we have the SAS jeep that's in the background of the others
Once I'm happy with them will build a display for them
After these, there are several more in the pipeline. First is the Meng MK A Whippet. Built up in a night, this has a first base on but will end up a dark green, this is here to allow some chipping (which will be a first for me so let's see how it goes. Haven't got any tracks at the moment as the links are all separate and there are just short of 130 of them
Then we have the IMG Model T ambulance which is at a very early stage, paused as wanted to paint the interior before fitting the roof and rear. Also have the matching nurse and casualties to go with it which is why the back is down. This a really flimsy kit, almost every piece feels like it could snap and the fit isn't great. The right of the main body is slightly out of shape which will make fitting the roof interesting.
No pics but I also have a 99% finished Dragon Sherman and a 1% finished Merit M19 Diamond T for it to sit on.
