I've got a white metal kit sitting around and have placed a bid on another. What glue do you recommend for white metal?

Epoxy (eg araldite), cyano (superglue) or low melt temperature solder work ok.

I have tried all the Super glues, any of the cheapest brands ive found to be rubbish. Loctite is ok and the best ive found to use is ZAP Ca.
Comes in bottles,
Very thin "Pink label",good for PE parts.
Medium " Green label, for assembly of white metal
Thick "Yellow label, for rough assembly and gap filling.

Theres also PLASTI ZAP "Orange label" for gluing clear parts , plastic and dries clear

You can also get thin tube aplicators to fit onto the bottle.
Most model shops sell it or online at the usual A and E sites

Trust this helps you

Just don't go near any of the window parts with superglue, they'll fog up instantly.

Clear parts need a PVA type glue, such as Pacer 560.
