Cheap and cheerful RC vehicles
Discussion
Having recently spent £38 on a Revell Cross Storm and found it to be exactly as I hoped it would be. I thought I'd see what everyone else has that they rate for using, abusing and then not worrying about an expensive purchase gathering dust when boredom inevitably sets in. I'm thinking a cheap plane or helicopter might be fun next, perhaps a boat.
It's now lost some of the front of the shell and has snazzy red wheel bolts since I managed to lose one. I also realised that the shocks can be disassembled and grease added to give it a bit of damping. I also managed to break the the little pin on the controller (it's definitely a bit cheap and flimsy) by being to aggressive and trying to add more lock than it had to give so had to strip it down and epoxy it back together, but that was easy enough. Overall I definitely recommend it, it's fast, tough and good fun.
