Adding Weight?
Discussion
First; I'm not a modeller.
I've rashly taken on the task of making some prop firearms for somebody's amateur video project. I thought I'd paint some Nerf guns, which is nice and easy. I can do that.
But to add some realism, I want to make them heavier, and thought about cramming the internal cavities with plasticine. Any better products/solutions?

I suspect concrete will be too hard to control in such small spaces. I thought about lead shot, but then when I began to consider media to set it in, I came up with plasticine, but not sure how heavy it actually is.
It's just under twice the density of water. Lead is about 11 times denser than water.I'd probably go with strips of lead (roof flashing) held in with hot glue
