Might be worth ordering a few bits and bobs as the cost of postage will be. High compared to the glue
Tamiya Extra thin is always a favourite

Revell Contacta Professional in the blue container

I’d buy a Revell starter kit with glue and paint, I think you’ll have time to do another kit...

Whats the best thing to use to stick clear plastic windows into a plastic model car?
I had a tantrum with my Range Rover because despite my best efforts, whoch weren't effortful enough, I still ended up ruining the windows with the Contacta I normally use. They're now painted black. Gangsta.
As an aside, I ended up throwing my teddy well and truly out of the pram. among other things I ended up accidentally soldering through the roof. And putting black fingerprints all over the white paintwork. The whole effect is that it was built and painted by a drunken nine year old. With a trebuchet and a mallet. I've bought another one to try again...

Now may be a good time to start a different hobby As an aside, I ended up throwing my teddy well and truly out of the pram. among other things I ended up accidentally soldering through the roof. As a youngster I messed up many a cockpit with polystyrene cement - now I might use superglue applied cautiously around the edges with a pin.

PVA - dries clear
Wood glue on plastic? Wouldn't have thought of that.Simpo Two said:

The fumes from superglue can make clear styrene go foggy. You can get "odourless" superglue that supposedly is safe for clear plastics but I've found it can be mit and miss. Formula 560 or humbrol clearfix is your best bet.As a youngster I messed up many a cockpit with polystyrene cement - now I might use superglue applied cautiously around the edges with a pin.

I see what you mean!
Luckily no need to stick canopies at present; the current issue is trying to drill 0.6mm holes with a blunt drill... brand new drills in a set, but they're either made of cheese or aren't pointy enough.
Get some 0.6mm PCB drills off Amazon. They’re always pretty sharp, unlike the Micro Drill type sets with the sliding lid; I’ve had one of those where the tips were so badly offset they didn’t match the flutes.Luckily no need to stick canopies at present; the current issue is trying to drill 0.6mm holes with a blunt drill... brand new drills in a set, but they're either made of cheese or aren't pointy enough.
