00 Bullied "City of Wells" steam

I have a small collection of double O steam trains, plus one or two in N gauage, which contains a die cast 00 Bulleid City of Wells; I assume it's City of Wells, though the name has worn off due to age. They used to get used very regularly about 25 years ago but since have just been used as display pieces. I checked eBay and the ones I found are listed for around £300-400. Are these quite valuable and rare amongst 00 gauage?. I suppose the price reflects condition. I believe there is a rare version of this model painted in black.
