I’ve a couple of “working” display items in my home, a click inside crystal, and a low temperature sterling engine, and like the idea of having some others.

Does anyone know of any working scale models of interesting machines, something that would not look out of place in a museum, or a gallery?

From another thread further down the page, have a look around this link. I've no idea if they're any good or not, but look interesting.

That engine looks awesome. So much want.

Till I realise

A) I have a 3 month old, so no time
B) I HAVE an old Austin A35 engine sitting in the garage for the last 2 years, that my dad could do with me rebuilding... thats not been touched since we put it on the engine stand. Doh.

Not a model, but sooner or later I must get round to rebuilding this.
