1/24th scale airfix typhoon question
Discussion
After a spur of the moment late night purchase of the Airfix 1/24th Typhoon! (don't drink and browse!) My question is as I want to do it in the captured Lufwaffe scheme before I start getting all the photo etch etc can anyone shed any light on whether it would of still had the cannons fitted or not?
I have found four pictures online including the one above, three appear to be of that particular Typhoon and one looks like a different one as it doesn't have the yellow tail plane.
I should also mention that until this year I have spent a long time away from models probably nearly 30 years! A friend of mine brought me the airfix 1/76 jeep for Christmas as he knows I've always wanted one (A real one not a plastic one!) Spurred on by my success I then went for the simple to build 1/24th Mosquito that is pretty much finished including just about every upgrade I could lay my hands on. I may of unlocked a until now unknown addiction to making large scale aircraft!

Can't find any more refs here for the Luftwaffe Typhoons sorry.
Looking at the loading diagram for the Typhoon, the cannon weighed over 400lb and they have a big effect on the centre of gravity so if the Luftwaffe were test flying that aircraft I expect they would have left the guns in place (removal would make the aircraft too tail heavy).

Thanks for that much appreciated. To be honest that was my gut feeling as well I would assume cannons but unloaded then? Looks like a trip to the Hannants web site armed with my credit card then! And if I can work out how to do it I will try to post some pics!Looking at the loading diagram for the Typhoon, the cannon weighed over 400lb and they have a big effect on the centre of gravity so if the Luftwaffe were test flying that aircraft I expect they would have left the guns in place (removal would make the aircraft too tail heavy).
