Looks good - I’m guessing it goes together with no issue?

No Issues when following the instructions, I forgot to put the compass in its PE housing until after the control column was in, mad fitting a bit tricky.
Got the fuselage halves together, only a little filler & sanding required. Rear tailplane is almost snap fit.

Superb. Makes it so much easier to get a good result when a kit is both well detailed and well engineered.

Just to demonstrate how good the fit is - this is the wing root with no glue or tape on either wing half, the parts are just resting there

Did some pre-shading with NATO Black - its there but subtle.

Next masking, followed by the camouflage.

Cockpit is going to be open & empty as it would be a shame to hide all the detail, but I decided to paint the pilot anyway for a bit of practice in figure painting.

He doesn't seem to be paying much attention or even holding any controls...

He’s traumatised. Devastated that Ginger didn’t bally well make it back today.

That's the other reason he's sat on top of my monitor, not in the spit smile

Decals and weathering done, just need the final matt coat, add the side door and properly attach the canopy and aerial mast and its done

I've also subsequently taken away the chipping on the prop as I've been told spit props don't wear like this

Nice work. I think adding an appropriate vehicle to the presentation of an aircraft model really adds to the effect for some reason.
