Brass effect aerosol

While I'm waiting for more wood samples to arrive I thought Id press on with some other bits.

I had an entertaining hour turning a wooden torpedo, and and am looking at the brassware, which is plentiful and difficult on a CMB. Some parts I can make from brass but others I think not. So can anyone recommend a really good aerosol which when sprayed on a smooth surface will actually look like brass? Thanks!

Alclad II Brass looks like...brass, as long as you apply it to a very smooth, gloss black surface. You’ll need an airbrush.

OMG not a bloody airbrush again! 2 mins to use, 3 weeks to clean

Well I suppose gold is the same colour as brass. I've done a bit of gold leaf, is it like that? But would prefer aerosol for small/awkard parts.

Yes a bit like gold leaf, but thicker.

You’d be better off with Alclad.
