I picked this up for a tenner at Milton Keynes a couple of weeks ago.
The subject of this months competition at the club is civilian transport and I have a week to build something. A bit of a no-brainier then.

Simple box art

For a simple kit. Just one white and one clear sprue.

The kit gives the option of opening up the windows or decals. I’m going to open up the windows, although that may be a mistake....

In 1/144, I generally go with window decals rather than plastic ones. In that scale, they can look better - especially if the windows have metallic framing.

There are not enough biz jet models around. Indeed, there aren't enough models of "general aviation" airtcraft, even though they make up a huge percentage of all aircraft.

So after taking out the windows I realised my mistake and then spent most of yesterday evening getting back to the starting point.
Honestly the engineering and fit of this kit is pretty terrible. Every single piece requires no end of fettling to fit. If I hadn’t started this thread it would be in the bin.
This is current progress. More filling is required then paint and final assembly.

Looking at those instructions in the last image, I didn't realise there were military Learjets. One for the 'planes I didn't know existed' thread.
Good luck with the build!
