5mm pinion. 3.17mm shaft! Help!
Discussion
After some excellent advice from the pistonheads experts I bought myself an axial yeti kit. Halfway through building it and I realise the yeti has a 5mm pinion but the shaft on my motor is 3.17mm.
Having had a look at my local model shop website all the 540 motors appear to have 3.17mm shafts.
I've had a quick Google and adapters don't appear to be common place.
What do I need to do? Complete noob and although I am thoroughly enjoying the building I am having to learn alot on along the way!!!
Thanks
