Shannon Airport, Ireland

I found myself at Shannon airport. Not a port of call I use very often. But they do a decent Full English (?) Breakfast, and they have a room just off the departure lounge full of models.

Nice to see prime retail space that in any other airport would be occupied by a boring ‘luxury’ store occupied by what I assume is Eric Mc’s collection of previous builds.

Apparantly this is ‘the largest collection of model aircraft in the world’. Was in the Limerick Advertiser so must be true.

Possibly the largest collection of built model aircraft. I'm sure I've got more in my stash...
