1/28 Scale Decals?
Discussion
I've recently gotten into Mini-z micro rc cars, they take up less space than the 1/10 scale cars which have taken over my house, they look good and there's a local club starting up too.
The bodyshells for a Mini-Z are 1/28 scale and you can buy them professionally pre-painted as part of the Kyosho Auto Scale Collection (ASC). Unfortunately many of these models are produced in limited runs and sporadically released into market. Some older models are hard to come by and can fetch £100+ on auction sites, which is madness for a bit of plastic.
Fortunately you can buy 'white body' kits which are like a model kit and require painting etc. Like this:
The downside is that; whilst a pre-finished body will come with all the correct markings / badges etc, you don't get any included with a white body set.
1/28 scale is not a familiar modelling scale either, so aftermarket isn't great (1/24 scale would be too large for badges).
Is there a website who will print custom scale waterslide decals? I would suggest printing my own, but by and large badges etc. are silver / grey in colour and require a plotter rather than a printer, which will only have cyan / yellow / magenta ink.
Any pointers would be most appreciated.
