Some pics of a lorry I’m building for the son of the fella that used to drive it.
It’s 1/24 scale, scratch built chassis ,body and interior-the cab is from a die cast triang toy,and has been a challenge to try to get looking half decent!

You’ve used an iPhone or iPad to take them, haven’t you? It’s an annoying quirk of Apple’s. You can hold an Apple product any way up to take a photo and any other Apple software automatically knows which way to orient it. Sadly, nothing else does. So, if you’re taking photos to post online, you need to remember to hold your Apple device with the “home” button either at the bottom for portrait or on the right for landscape.

I've adjusted the view for you and added an old Morris Commercial photo that might be of interest.

Thanks for the extra images, lovely project and nicely done. Do post up when you're finished!
Was unfamiliar and had to look up that era of Austin/Morris wagon, love the small van poking out the front of the large truck look! Seems that middle front pressing made it through 2 facelifts.
Loving the double axle factory demonstrator too. Puts me in mind of the pre-war Britains army truck toy...

I hope you don't mind me going off topic.
I'm unsure is this is an FHK of FFK.
The caption says Morris FFK

I don’t mind at all!
That’s a great pic
As far as I know the main difference between the two is that an FHK has a canted over engine and a flat cab floor with two man passenger seat, whereas
an FFK has the engine in the cab.(I don’t know an awful lot about BMC products-Bedfords are my thing!)

Looks like it's got decent traction in those first few pics whistle

I always admire anyone that can build from scratch and end up with a decent model.

LOL-I’d say he ran out of brakes-the artic versions of these were able to carry 12 ton payloads!!
Must have been an “interesting “ drive at around 18 tons gross with 120bhp !!!

Excellent work..Those "waggoners hitches" most have taken some effort..
