1:4 figure

i'm currently building a R/C flying model aircraft to 1/4 scale. It's a WWII Italian biplane and I need a "pilot" to sit in the office for authenticity. I've looked at specially made models but they're coming out over £200. Action Man is too small at 1:6, so does anyone have any ideas how I could do this reasonably cheaply?

Just looked and there is a 1/4 superman figure going for £20.

Surely he can be modified in - he looks a little italian

Some here, a bit cheaper Luftwaffe figure is £55. Therre are some half unpainted figures on ebay.

Cheap enough and I'm sure I can mess about with dressing him to suit WWII Italian uniform.
