Well well, I’ve been a member of Pistonheads for years and only just discovered this area. Now I have, I suppose I should share a couple of photos of some of the Space related models I have.

Brilliant.

Is the first one the old Revell Atlas kit with ad-ons?

I built this not too long ago (it had been in my stash since around 1983).

Yes, spot on. Extended with parts from a second kit & a few scratch built bits.

That’s quite a collection. I especially like the shuttle take off.
I’d be interested to know how the effect is achieved it’s quite stunning.

The SRB effect is clear plastic tube with lights in and covered with cotton wool, the rest of the smoke was curtesy of a vaper, but you have to be quick taking the photo!
