Here's my attempt at one of the £3 bargains at Hobbycraft.
This is my first Star Wars model and first scratch built base/diorama.
The case is part of the packaging from a GoPro.

I like that. Did you paint the TIE fighter or is it one of those pre-painted kits?

Painted, these kits aren't prepainted.
It's only a bit of preshading and a wash.
The hardest bit was masking for the black bits.

Looks great - certainly more than a £3 kit should. The weathering makes it stand out.

Often thought these would look good in front of an L shaped motion blur image of the equatorial trench.
