Hi
I have got a 1:43 Spark black Porsche 993 and the door mirror has been knocked off.
I have got it but was trying to decide whether to attempt gluing it or see if I could get a replacement (and poke out the bit left in the slot and push it in (ooh matron)).
Any thoughts?

I'd email Spark most companies would help out (certainly Corgi Vanguard sent me a replacement wing mirror). Much better to replace the part than try gluing.

Thinking about it that one might be minichamps but I’ll check and ask them then. I thought it might be one of those situations where people buy them and “break them” for parts!

I`d remove the peg from the hole in the door, drill a hole in the mirror and fit a wire pin replacing the broken peg entirely, then refit dry so it can swivel in the hole when nudged, rather than breaking again. Needs small drills, wire and plasters for the inevitable puncture wounds of course...

A small drop of Microscale Krystal-Kleer will give you a nice invisible repair. It's white but dries clear as its name suggests.

It actually looks like a thinner version of PVA, but my unsuccessful attempts to make my own KK by thinning PVA with water, suggest it isn't!

PVA would probably work at a push though.
