Revell contacta cement
Discussion
I've been using some of this glue, amongst others, whilst building some kits with my Godson and the metal nozzle keeps getting blocked, leaving a bottle of glue I can't get out. The rubber cap gets replaced, so I was wondering is there something you can do to prevent this and if not is there a way to unblock the nozzle once it does become blocked?
A small micro drill bit pushed through either end of the nozzle sometimes works.
Another technique I use sometimes is to pull the applicator nozzle out of the bottle. Hold the nozzle in a long nosed pliers and place it in a candle flame. Poly cement is inflammable so when the application needle gets sufficiently hot, the solidified cement will ignite and jet out of the open ends of the applicator needle. Leave the apllicator alone for a few minutes to allow it to cool down. With some kitchen paper, clean off any sooty residue from the outside of the needle and place the needle back in the bottle. Nine time out of ten that will clear the blockage.
Obviously, having a naked flame in an around your workbench is always something you need to be careful about so make sure anything inflammable such as thinners, spirits, paint cleaner etc is cleared away before you start lighting candles.

Managed to unblock it by holding the nozzle over the gas hob and burning/melting out the hardened glue. 5 amp fuse wire fits perfectly down the nozzle to prevent any further blockages. I do use the Tamiya brush glues as well as the Contacta; always remember the glue in the tubes going 'stringy' as well, though some brands were worse than others.
