In a fit of self control, I ordered some paints, thinners, primer, varnish and glue. And a Meng toon u-boat, because an order from a model shop without a model seems wrong!

Just as well that they were sold out of the 1:144 Corvette ship

In the interest of full disclosure. I bought the new tool Tamiya “tony” in 1/48 scale.

Hannants has it for nearly £40. I paid £32 including shipping.

Thanks for that. Bought my son a Prime Desert Assault V2 Buggy 4wd 1/10th. Got it for £111. I'd seen it on line for up to £160 on a few sites.

I was watching the livestream they sponsor last night. It seems they got a bit snowed under with orders. Whoops! To be fair, they have been sending apologetic updates and it is only quite a small business. I hope it doesn't cause them financial problems.
