That looks seriously complicated. If anyone does attempt it they are going to have to post photos. What does that cost?
It’ll be cheap considering the amount of detail and quality if it’s anything like the WnW SE.5a I built. Every other manufacturer of 1:32 kits will be stting themselves right now.All quiet on the Dam Buster front I think. Looking around, I see the production company is called Wingnut Films. I wonder if they are giving up on the film and so are releasing the CAD models with the hope of generating some cash. Given the price of their other products, I can't see this being much less than £1K.
Not that I stand a chance of affording one, but I hope there will be an option to de-mount the wings, preferably with transparent or cutaway skin. It would be a crime not to be able to see the interior detail.

I have a deposit down for the HK Lanc
Interesting the WW is a Dams Lanc so as mentioned probably a tie in with the film. How long has that been a n the pipeline fir, did Fry ever complete the script ?.
I wonder if WW will offer a clear nose section as HK models do. Such a shame to have all that interior detail hidden.

There are at least 2 versions of the WnW Lancaster shown, not just the Dambusters one. At just under 1m span I’d struggle to find somewhere to display it. Must admit, I didn’t rate the HKM Mosquito, the details - particularly engines - looked crude alongside the Tamiya version. I’d expect the WnW Lancaster to easily be the best of the two.
The bumph for the other version (my highlight in bold):

32043 Avro Lancaster B.Mk.III in development for release in late 2019. Highly detailed RR Merlin XX (for B.Mk.1) or Packard V-1650-1 Merlin 28 (for B.Mk.III). Internal canopy framing. Dropped flaps. Removable outboard wing sections for ease of display. WWII era fabric covered elevators. European theatre radiators and nacelle intakes. Optional early & late tailwheels, unweighted or weighted (with full bomb load) main wheels, H2s Radar, 500lb (UK & USA), 1000lb, 4000lb “Cookie” and SBC bombs, FN.20 or FN.120 rear turret with optional cut away perspex, early & late bomb aimer’s blisters & windows. Optional dummy engine blocks so you don’t need to assemble complete engines to build model. Early DH.5/40 (needle) & late A5/138 (paddle) type propellers & spinners
It would be a crime not to make at least one engine! I found a video of the hobby show on you tube earlier and they talked a little about this kit. The time delay in launching it is because they are working hard to get the stressed skin right.
Sounds like it could be something special indeed.
I wonder how long it will be until they do a spitfire of hurricane.

apparently WNW are saying about the same price as their flexistow and hanse double act - so about $350US.
I have a HK model on order and just put in a preorder for the WNW. One will stay in the stash, these prices aint going to go down. These are limited run HK with a clear fuselage and WNW is not a mass market brand - so if you don't build it you aint going to loose money.

well airfix mosie was about 160 GBP retail so not quite 350USd..... but the flexistowe is beast of a kit in 1/32 scale and it comes with the hanse float plane so it does seem believable .
the price came from a large scale planes thread so check that forum and an email from WNW so i guess we will see soon enough
