I used to build models, mainly scratch-built to plans, way back. I built a couple of radio controlled cars, and rebuilt them, but a new job meant I had little time to myself. Now I'm in my confused years I thought I'd wander along to a 4x4 r/c crawler day, this one organised by the London Scale Trail Runners.

The were a pleasant bunch. It looks like fun. Anyone else partake?

Here's a little video of my morning. https://writewheel.uk/old-blugger/

I have taken my Tamiya Blackfoot walking in the woods with the kids I work with, got some odd looks but has been a great way of getting them off their bloody consoles!

I have a couple of crawlers, Traxxas TRX 4 and a couple of Carisma SCA1Es, Coyote and Lynx. The bug has well and truly bitten me and there's nothing better than a wet day up on Ilkley moor or in the local woods smile
