Discussion
I am currently on my Hols in sunny Devon and was getting the jitters having gone a few days without any model making.
A visit to the fleet air arm museum today presented me with the opportunity to buy this.
Decals seem ok. There are no printers name on them, however they are all nice and solid colour and all in register, so I assume they are probably cartograf.
Parts aren’t on sprues as such, but are crisply moulded and have no visible flash. Unusually the plastic isn’t the normal styrene, but more like ABS.
A little bit of sorting out was required.
Assembly starts with the engine / nose section.
Then the tail
Then you bring the sections together
Finally the wings
Fuselage and wings mated together for the finished model.
The prop even spins

Also I popped into the local model shop in exmouth. They had this behemoth heavily discounted and I couldn’t resist it.
I have no idea where I’m going to put it.
A. When it’s built
B. Before it’s built
C. For the journey home.
It’s a bit of a whopper.
2 foot wingspan, there or thereabouts? That's a big old model. I have no idea where I’m going to put it.
