Been interested in getting one of these for a while, going rate seems to be around £95.00

Looking on ebay today and I have found this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911-Engine-Kit-...

What am I missing, dodgy?

Only 1 item on the history over a year ago, Spanish? Free postage on a biggish box? Hmm. They aren't great kits.

Pay on PayPal and then wait?

Franzis is a German online shop (franzis dot de). They sell stuff like technical toys, books, DVD's and other. You can buy the exact same item on their website for € 149,00.

I would be worried to order the same with the Spanish guy at that unrealistically low price. What did they say again about when an offer is too good to be true?

I've seen one partially built and for the money they seem pretty shonky - cheap feeling plastics and poor fit.

I've got one that I made in January. Not brilliant to be honest but fun building it whilst other stuff goes on in the house.

I've got one bought in January this year for £75 from Mankind, good fun to build and would have been better if the cam belts weren't missing.
